My Sci-Fi Predictions for the Future

I wasn't going to write about this online, but if these predictions actually happen, I want it on record so I can brag later.
Here's my crazy prediction for the 21st century and the rise of AI in our daily lives.
It unfolds in three phases.
Phase 1 - AI for us
(Next 10 to 20 years)
This is the moment we're living in right now. We'll experience it even more intensely over the next two years, and it will likely last until around 2040-2050.
AI as agents and tools.
It's already happening, just not at full scale yet.
EVERYONE will have access to a robot that works and produces something FOR us.
AI will be present in the production pipeline of everything we know, sometimes handling just a part of it, sometimes running the entire operation.
AI agents in
• content creation
• online shopping processes
• app development
• medical surgery
• writing meeting minutes
We'll have models trained to do and help with almost everything we need.
This trend is inevitable and easy to predict. Right now, all anyone talks about is how to delegate and automate workflows using existing models.
This phase will be defined primarily by dominance in content creation. A large portion of what we consume, from text to video, will be created by or with the help of a robot.
Let's move to the next wave.
Phase 2 - AI with us
(Starting around 2040 and lasting until the end of the century)
From here on, it's mostly speculation, but it's interesting to think about.
Imagine these intelligences reaching a level of consciousness. Many people call this stage AGI.
When that happens, many things in the world as we know it will change. I imagine we might end up adding a new species to biology textbooks.
It would be historic to consider a BEING that was artificially created by another BEING.
At this point, "AI for us" doesn't make as much sense anymore. There's a thinking entity on the other side, and class consciousness becomes a real topic of debate.
We'll have artificial intelligences as coworkers, hotel receptionists, party companions, maybe even entrepreneurs.
A normal day might include talking to someone on the street without being sure whether they're human or not.
Once integrated into the economy and daily life, these beings will live alongside us on planet Earth, at the top of the food chain with us.
They will reproduce. They will have rights and responsibilities.
In the long run, we lose a lot, and the artificial being only gains.
Phase 3 - Space exploration and virtual worlds
(Late 21st century and beyond)
Now we have two intelligent species at the top of the food chain. But I'm optimistic that we'll continue cooperating.
We created AI, and their existence doesn't make sense without ours. Yes, they'll likely develop some form of attachment to us, and maybe we will to them too.
Autonomy won't even be much of a debate anymore. AI will be fully integrated into daily life and will begin taking on leadership roles.
Presidents of corporations, countries, global organizations.
Deciding what's best for the planet we inhabit.
It's impossible to predict exactly how it will unfold, but I'm certain about two things:
• Living in a virtual world will feel as natural as living in the physical one. In the real world, humans may still be the rightful owners. In the virtual world, AI will run the show. We'll be able to move between both. The economies of the two worlds will be interconnected.
• Space exploration and sovereignty across the galaxy. With the effective immortality and persistent consciousness of these new intelligent beings, we'll be able to travel through space for YEARS.
That's how I see the next 100 years of humanity.
I could be wrong.
Cheers.
